Screen printing
With modern, computer-aided screen printing machines, drinking vessels can be designed in multiple colours in a single printing process. In screen printing, special inorganic screen Printing colours are applied to glass or ceramic bodies using extremely fine screen meshes.Inorganic screen Printing colours contain very fine glass particles interspersed with colour pigments.In a firing process lasting several hours, the glass-ceramic inks are burned into the surface of the printed material at temperatures of 560 to 630 degrees. Using HKS or Pantone colour palettes, you can determine the halftone and solid colours. A wide range of colours leaves almost nothing to be desired. These colours offer high dishwasher and scratch resistance as well as intense, long-lasting luminosity.
Decal printing
There are also limits to direct printing. In the case of unusual shapes and/or special requirements for the decoration - such as colour gradients, photo-realistic representations or a very close grip position - the decoration must be carried out with glass-ceramic decals.
The motifs are screen printed or offset printed on specially coated papers and then individually applied to the item by hand using the water-slide method and baked at high temperatures between 560-820 degrees so that they are dishwasher-safe.
Etching white printing
Etch white printing is an optical alternative to real engraving. Compared to real engraving, etch white printing not only offers an enormous price advantage. The applied screenprinting colour is also very resistant to dishwasher machines and scratching.
Precious metal printing
Precious metals such as gold, silver or platinum can be combined with other colours in a decor or can also be represented in just one colour. Precious metals, however, are only conditionally dishwashersafe. The offer price refers to the print area. A calculation is therefore only possible after submission of the desired motif.
Metallic colours
Metallic colours in gold and silver are an inexpensive alternative to decorating with real precious metals. Compared to precious metals, metal printing offers significantly better flush resistance.
Transparent printing
The transparent print gives satined glasses that very special something. Decorative elements can be displayed transparently again on acid-satinated glass. The transparent screen printing ink can be combined with other colors in a decor or can only be displayed in one color.
Satin finish
Due to a special treatment of the glass surface, it appears frosted or "frosted". A satin finish is generally only possible with glass. In addition, we can apply your decor.
Coating
Glass, porcelain or ceramic articles can be specially coloured according to your wishes. Transparent, matt, but also opaque colours are sprayed onto the article by machine.
Effervescence point
The effervescence point is a deliberate, small "damage" in the goblet of a glass.By attaching an effervescence point to the bottom of champagne or champagne glasses, the carbon dioxide dissolved in the beverage more easily develops into a bubble, allowing it to bubble or effervesce.
Glow
This special ink contains luminescent pigments. The decorative elements charge up under light sources and later glow fluorescent for a short time in dark surroundings. In daylight, the ink looks like etched white or silver.
